AWS re:Invent 2013 | Day 2 Keynote with Werner Vogels

Invent-

AWS CTO Werner Volgels kicks off the second day of 2013 event with this keynote speech with more of the rollouts for that year. It’s nearly two hours of great inside information and backstories about how AWS approaches product launches.

You’ll learn what Werner calls “working from the customer backwards.” It’s a philosophy at Amazon that defines how they approach development. For example, before they write a single line of code, they write a press release that describes the product they plan to deliver. Before they can move forward, they also write the product FAQ. It helps them achieve their goal to deliver only the features a customer wants.

Many of these featured videos are AWS product demos. This one includes one for Kinesis.
